Although technically “water view,” Carver’s Harbor, home to the east coast’s largest lobster boat fleet, is literally just across the street. The lobster shacks where Vinalhaven’s lobstermen work on traps and paint bouys dot the shoreline on Clamshell Alley, so bring your camera or paints and easle, it doesn’t get anymore authentic or picturesque than this! Easy walk to town and Lane’s Island Nature Preserve.

The front deck of this vacation rental house is fully furnished and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The welcoming living room with views to the harbor is serene with its white upholstered loveseat and reading chair. The adjacent kitchen with open shelving, blue and white china and granite countertops is perfect for simple family meals filled with ingredients like love, joy and laughter. The dining area with banquette and chairs is a cozy setting to bring you together. There is a bedroom on the first floor with bunk beds, a half bath with washer and dryer and the smallest sink in the world. Cute, cute, cute! Upstairs is the master bedroom with a queen bed and harbor view and full bathroom. The seaside decore throughout is delightful, sunny and fun.
